Founded in 2004, Keiki Intercultural Preschool in Setagaya is proud to celebrate its 20th year as a trusted institution for early childhood education. For two decades, we’ve been honored to serve the wonderful families of Setagaya, providing high-quality, child-centered learning in a warm, inclusive, and progressive environment.

IB Program

Inquiry-Based Learning

Keiki Intercultural Preschool has become an authorized IB PYP school, marking a significant milestone in our journey to providing a world-class, inquiry-based education.

The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) is designed for young learners aged 3 to 12. This transdisciplinary program aims to develop the whole child, nurturing curiosity, inquiry, and a passion for learning. Throughout the curriculum, students engage with six transdisciplinary themes, enhancing skills such as critical thinking and communication. The program is committed to cultivating international-mindedness and fostering intercultural understanding, empowering students to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
